David Futch has oil and gas industry experience since 2012, specializing in materials, welding, and corrosion in a midstream pipeline setting. At ADV Integrity, he guides clients through failure analysis programs, repair techniques, material degradation phenomena, material selection, and welding related issues.
Prior to joining ADV, he was a Materials and Corrosion Engineer for ExxonMobil Pipeline Company, where he was responsible for the midstream pipeline repair program, pipeline welding program, materials selection, regulator inquiries, and failure analysis work. Prior to ExxonMobil, he worked at a consulting firm where he performed over 100 failure analyses and integrity assessments related to pipeline materials.
